Some recommendations:

Animated

• Disney Up Maybe the best animated movie ever?
• Finding Nemo I only list this one because I cried in the cinema as a kid when Nemo got lost and only finished the movie as an adult. Funny, eh?
• Inside Out Teen movie that dives into the transition from youth to adult and all the different emotions that shape your character.

Anime

• Parasyte (MUST WATCH) A deep anime about anthropocentrism (human centered) of morality. It dives into the relationship between humans & nature and humans & other living beings and questioned where we have the right to claim moral superiority to others. Even if you are not into anime I would give it a shot. If you are into philosophical topics and like to question life this one is for you. Just trust me. Please. It really is great. If you watch it because of me and don’t like it I will pay for the next restaurant visit. If you like you pay for me!

Non animated

• Collateral (MUST WATCH, fav movie) I don’t want to say too much but this is my favourite movie. Watch it. It has some great dialogues. One of the only movies I have seen multiple times. I think I saw once a youtube comment that summed up Vincent the best: Vincent is like the devil on your shoulder, bad, but still has your best interests in mind. Tipp: If you paid attention to the movie in the start the ending will be even better.

• Lucky Number Slevin (Underrated) I don’t want to spoil anything. Just watch it. Trust me again.

• Drive Special place. I watched this movie on the weekend I started programming. While I was working through my first lines of code and coding all night I would listen to the Nightcall which was the soundtrack of the movie. Whenever I listen to Nighcall or see this movie I remember writing my first code lines in python. What a memory! The movie is great as well.

• The man from nowhere Korean movie, one of my fav action thrillers.

• Leon: The professional

• Breakfast at Tiffany’s Iconic.

• Run Lola run (Masterpiece) German movie. Fun fact: I live(d) right next to the supermarket that they rob. If you like clock ticking movies, this might be for you!

• American History X No person is born hating. There is always a way to save someone from their past and give them a future.

• No country for old men The best psychopathic killer?

• I saw the devil Extreme brutal revenge movie. It takes a monster to get rid of another monster.
